ETALON collection — 40 mm interior doors

ETALON is the broadest line IN WOOD makes. If you have not yet decided where to start, start here: it has the most models, the widest choice of frames, and options available nowhere else in the range.

The leaf is 40 mm thick — 6 mm more than NOMINAL and FREZZATTI. You will not see the difference in a photo, but you will feel it: the door is heavier, denser, and closes differently. That thickness is also what leaves room for optional sound insulation, which no other line offers. Read more about what the leaf is made of in "Panel vs. stile-and-rail doors".

Seventeen models. ET-01 is a plain leaf with no decor, a base for minimalist interiors. ET-02 to ET-17 carry moulding: from a single vertical line to dense geometric patterns. The leaf colour is chosen from 17 films, from plain white to Stone Cut, Carpathian Spruce and Black Bark.

Three edge options — effectively three different doors.

Standard edge is finished in PVC film. The most common and most affordable choice.

Aluminium edging finishes the edge with a metal profile. It looks more expensive and takes knocks better — the edge is what a trolley, a vacuum cleaner or a child's scooter hits first. The edging comes in black, white, or matched to the leaf.

INSIDE edging adds a decorative aluminium inlay on the leaf itself, black or grey. The inlay is chosen separately from the edging, so the combination can be built around a specific interior.

The widest frame choice in the range. Beyond the standard telescopic frame, ETALON alone offers a flush frame — the leaf sits level with the wall, with no protruding frame — and a concealed frame, STANDART for plastering or LUX for panelling. With a concealed frame no architrave or extension is needed: the joint is filled and painted together with the wall, and the door reads as no frame at all. Sizes. Width 400–900 mm, height 1800–2100 mm, in 50 mm steps — no size surcharge within that range. Wider than 900 or taller than 2100 is made to order, up to 1000 and 2300 mm respectively.
