Black and dark interior doors

Dark doors have stopped being a risk. A few years ago only a handful of people chose them; now it is one of the main directions, and our order book shows it clearly.

What the palette holds. Black bark is a deep black with a fine texture, the closest to a true black. Anthracite is a dark grey, softer than black and easier to combine. Southern wenge is dark wood with a pronounced grain. Dark concrete and dark oxide are cool greys for minimalist interiors. Feldgrau is a grey-green, rare and very distinctive.

Black is not only the leaf. In the ETALON collection the aluminium edging colour is chosen separately — black edging on a light leaf draws a thin graphic line around the perimeter. In the INSIDE version there is also a black decorative inlay on the leaf itself. These are two different devices and they work in entirely different ways.

If you need one specific black, we paint to a RAL or NCS code, with the frame and architrave to match.

Honestly about the downside. Dark smooth surfaces show dust and marks — no less than white ones, simply differently. Textured finishes such as black bark behave noticeably better than smooth ones.

Where they are available. Black bark and dark concrete are in ETALON and PERFETTO. Anthracite, dark oxide and feldgrau are in NOMINAL and FREZZATTI. Southern wenge is in most lines.
